I am Kamande Esther, a born-again believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I love to begin with this statement because I am proud to declare that He is my Lord and Savior. I believe that He has good plans for my life, and these plans work together to advance His Kingdom agenda here on earth.
I grew up in a Christian home and from an early age, I knew that there was a God in heaven who will one day come back for all of us. I knew ABOUT God, but I did not KNOW God. I never knew that it was possible to have a thriving, personal relationship with Him. All I knew was that if I remained in His good books by attending church services and being a good girl, then I would go to heaven.
I had no idea what it meant to live intentionally with the Holy Spirit and to allow Him to lead me. I didn’t know that I had a calling or purpose in life to fulfil. As life would have it, seasons came and seasons went and my growth in matters God revealed a lot about Him that I could never imagine living without. I have had to unlearn, re-learn and learn who God truly is and I must admit, I am yet to scratch the surface of who He is.
With time, I developed a hunger to find out what my life purpose or assignment was. As a creative, I have always loved writing, and being an introvert, writing is the most effective way for me to express myself. Its therefore not a wonder that God would use that gift to serve His plans.
I have experienced a lot of ups and downs in my pursuit of God’s purpose for my life, but these experiences have drawn me closer and closer to Him. I am certain that my life would have turned out completely different than it has, had I not had God with and in me. I realize now how important God is in our day to day lives and it’s for this reason and many more that this Blog exists. I believe that God wants to be active and present in every area of our lives. He has a longing to build relationships with us and for us to get to know Him for who He is and not what society or religion says He is.
This blog exists to show you how practical and intentional God is about your life, to inspire you to pursue that personal relationship with Him, to encourage you to discover what your assignment is in life and to cheer you on as you live out your life purpose. This Blog exists to offer you hope and to remind you that it is possible to live intentionally with the Holy Spirit in a world where He has been completely ignored.
I was created for such a time as this, to inspire and challenge your heart back to God, with one article at a time. This Blog exists to peddle Hope and I pray that as you read the articles here, you will walk away charged up to take on the world through the Word of God.!!
